Lifestyle First build an awareness of the principles of lifestyle medicine and uses health coaching as a gentle way to engage and nurture an interest in their wellbeing.
Habit change is fundamental and initially there is often a need to build the connection between what we do, and how we feel and think. Staff often report an increase in the awareness of their own internal relationships and as their love for themselves improves so does their aspiration towards a healthy physiology (including brain health) leading to a more effective individual at work and in their personal life.
This service is life changing for the members of staff involved but is also a godsend for those who are working closely with them. The amount of cover drops, the students they teach get the deal they should be entitled to and the emotional drain of supporting them disappears.
Often these members of staff begin a new positive lifestyle movement amongst their colleagues! Habit change is so much easier when you are in alignment with the people around you.
